Hudson Public Schools' Dual Language program is housed at Farley Elementary School for students in grades K-4.
The Dual Language Program is a model designed to
promote bilingualism and biliteracy, cross—cultural
competency, and high levels of academic achievement for all students.
- Bilingualism and biliteracy is accomplished by
placing equal emphasis on core content instruction in both English and Portuguese.
- Curriculum is aligned to grade level standards.
Research supports high levels of academic
achievement for both groups.
- Positive cross–cultural relationships and positive attitudes are developed toward both cultures.
